I know where I'm going and the way that I've begun

The path that leads to heaven where I'm a native son

The Spirit of Adoption has given me a name

And for all the grief I've given He took away the blame!

I'm a stranger in a strange land- an alien worlds apart

I'm a pilgrim longing to return the the place that holds my heart
