Sweet communion

 

 

 

 

The fellowship of sweet hope by which together we are bound

 

 

Are ours because our deliverer has given common ground

 

 

In sweet communion let our prayers ascend- he calls us to be one and he calls us as a friend

 

 

The Lord of love is not silent on this we can depend- his sacred bond of peace will unify us in the end

 

The ground of his being is the great leveler beyond time

 

He is to all and thru all an in all and yet all together he binds

 

Yet he is perfect personality distinct from his creation

 

He is the one who lives and loves and is worthy of our adoration

We are one in the spirit and one in the Lord,  Because what he has given shall transcend

 

All of or differences become special by his grace, and we are strengthened by the blend...
