The Table of the Lord

 

All your hurt and your pain all your loss and your gain

Are the focus of your faith

Christ will take you through-And your mind renew

If you allow yourself to begin here.

 

The pain of sin's increased- you can learn in faith to feast

On the gifts that He's outpoured.

All the blessedness and His perfect rest

Are at the table of the Lord.

 

The one who spreads the feast

Invites you in to be released

Your joy in Him shall never ceas

At the Table of the Lord!

 

We can learn to give and begin to live

In His image we are released

If we hail our host as the one we love most

And not the table or the feast

 

So when time is done then in our blessed one

All things shall be fulfilled.

He'll remove the curse from this universe

As surely as the working of His will!
