Ultimate Desire

 

I shall be satisfied when I can break

The chains of flesh that bind

When as a pure likeness of God's image

I shall awaken and shine...

 

I let my soul open up its eyes

and this world pass away from my sight

The coming of the dawn of grace

Will erase the shadows of the night!

 

To see you in your glory as you are

And for you to see your image in me

When the arms of my Father encircle this Child

Satisfied- I will be!

 

Jesus - to know you- is all that i require

Jesus- to know you- To know you is my ultimate desire!

 

Jesus I just want to know you

to show you to a world in need

To know you as a person

Brother, lover, saviour who redeems

 

To know  you in your fulness

your suffering and victory

as God, and creator and King

Your humanity and your magesty!

 

To see you in your glory as you are

And for you to see your image in me
