When Storms Arise

 

 

 

 

1. So many times life's storms arise in the darkness of the night

2. We run on our own momentum when things are going right

 

 

1. When shadows fall across our eyes and we wander in the absence of the light

2.  But when trauma tempts and tries us we flounder in our plight...

 

 

1. There are times when we feel life is more than we can bear

2. But He conforms redeemed sinners to the likeness of His son.

 

 

1. We are tempted to feel abandoned and that no one really cares...

2. And He has promised to perfect that which in us He has begun.

 

 

1. But there is truth that we can embrace when we take the time to face

2. But there is truth that we can embrace when we take the time to face

 

 

 

1. Though circumstances and people reject us, God uses them to perfect us...

2. All things  shall work according to                 God's purposes and call for you

God is not committed to sorting out our messes...He is committed to conforming us to Christ

 

 

He doesn't releive all life's consequences for our eternal good may be for us to pay some price

 

 

God has placed His purpose within us- grater than smooth sailing and cloudless skies

 

 

So draw close to the Lord when life's storm arise....
