Work and Pray

 

 

 

There is much to do within God's will- we have a commission to fulfill

 

 

To go and to teach and to purify, to be salt and light to a world that dies

 

 

Though life is a vapor, God's word and way has lasting value that will always stay

 

 

So while time is fleeting and passing away let us work and pray - trust and obey

 

 

 

For the lost and neglected are everywhere and most of mankind lives in hopeless despair

 

 

 

Blinded and dead to the truth of life, and we have an agenda to end the strife

 

 

The whole world is scattered and bound by sin to end the exile and bring them in

 

 

This is the mission we pursue on earth- to contend  salvation as the source of worth
