Cutting Edge (Hebrews 4:12)

There is a word that is sharper than any two edged sword

That penetrates into the darkness and severs the slave's binding cord.

There is a blade that divideth between the spirit and soul

That prunes the branches that whither- that belongs to the One in control.

From the very mouth of our Savior comes words of a judgement divine.

For all things are held together by him andHe orders all space and time.

With living power and an all seeing eye, His word shall divide like a wedge

Cutting thru darkness and piercing the heart, For this is life on the real cutting edge.
