And built a wall I could not breach- and locked me into strife

I loved my sin so very much- it put me out of touch

with reality And what I was created to be...

and threw me in forever I thought I was so clever

But it was only pride- my spirit died

And I was a lost cause- a hopeless case

I was consumed by sinning - a stranger to God's grace

He loved me enough to die while I was seducing my desires

Jesus Christ the Son of GOd Baptized me with Holy Fire

Jesus pursued me , Jesus Rescued me Jesus renewed me and gave me life

He pled my case My guilt erased- He took my place and gave me life...
