Keep the Cross in Sight

There is no sin that can remove me from His love

There is no place under His gaze where I can hide.

There is no secret vault to separate me from his righteousness

Except the righteous covering that He himself provides.

There is no lie that I can tell, no lust in me that burns

That can overcome His holy righteous fire

There is no way to rebel that will give that for which I yearn

No pursuit that will yield the life my soul requires.

If I will keep the cross in sight ever in my view

And focus on the sacrifice, my mind will be renewed.

The price of the atonement he has made

The price of my redemption he has paid.

This is the greatest love the world has ever seen

This is the greatest love that ever has been.
