Hid In Christ With God

This is a secret that few men know, but the wise its truth shall heed

All that matters is Christ alone and in Him shall men be freed.

For all else will be gone one day but what is of faith shall remain

To be hid with Christ in God is all a man could hope to attain.

For wood and hay and stubble are life’s substance and its sum

If you cling to things that pass away when His kingdom shall come.

For the heavens and earth shall pass away but the Word of the Lord shall stand.

This world will wear out like old clothes, but our names are written on His hand.
