In Plain Sight

We are bored with our freedom- so we strive to acquire

More things and more distractions, More activities to spark our desire.

All our things and our functions leave life lonely and void

Bored to death with our fancies we thought we enjoyed.

For all we really need is just a portion of joy and trust

Intimacy and love.

And beyond this mortal veil we can sense that we have failed

Anything like that from above.

we are hungry and we are lonely and we don't know what satisfies

We are starving in our spirits for a glimpse of God that we can recognize.

Turn your eyes to Jesus for He is in plain sight.

Let the world fade away from view tonight

Let Him be all you see and you'll be sure

To believe to follow and endure.
