The Accounting

If you were completely free to be anywhere you wanted to be-

what would you want to see?

If you were to die tonight- If you knew you’d never see another morning light

What scene would you have break upon your sight?

If from this life you passed away, if time to eternity gave way

Would there be any point to even pray?

What is your hope for eternity- Did you know you can choose to be free?

How you decide will decide what you see...

If Christ isn’t true, then you should deny Him

But if He’s the only way then you need to rely on Him!

While you’re being drawn is your chance to try him

What will you do? What if its true?

If He isn’t true and you don’t believe- what have you gained or lost?

But if He is true and you don"t believe- you’ve got to pay a terrible cost!

When you hear Him call, give Him your all- Don’t wait or stall

You may never get this chance again!

There is a future and hope and a place for us to stay

A dwelling in heaven at the end of our road- For Christ is the only Way!

There is more to life than you have seen and He is the living proof

The grave couldn’t hold the one you're denying- He is the only Truth!

Beyond death there is an accounting...This is the word that cuts like a knife
