Under the Influence

How can I justify any desire that quenches your holy holy fire?

What is it avove all else constrains, convicts and compels?

If I would have wisdom I would choose

To find jesus’ life and my life I’d lose

For giving him control of my soul

Yields the fruit of self control.

I would not be under the influence of any thing else on this earth

But to be being filled with His spirit like the baptism of my new birth

If I would be filled then I must be cleansed

Prepare a place for him to abide

To believe, obey and to repent

So in Him will I hide.
