God is My King

God is the King of my heart

God is the King of my soul

God is the King of my Mind

God is the king of my Strength

If god is my King then I will be known

By the same love that my ruler has shown

For my sovereign Lord wants to see

His purpose and plan bearing fruit through me

The love of my heart unto Jesus I give

A life that’s laid down is the life I must live

My mind thinking only captive thoughts

My strength given over to be used as it ought

May my King find me hearing His word

may he know I’l obey and will do what I’ve heard.

My mouth saying just what he would say

My will working His will in his way
