Lord of my Past

You know my life, you know my heart

There is nothing of which you are not a part

You see my days from the first to the last

You account mercy to me for my past

You provide grace for all of my days

And in this present hour I will seek your ways

All the futility is burned up in Holy fire

All of the seeking after my own desires

Every thing not done in the spirit is vain

Every seeking of self was of loss, not of gain

You will account for the first and the last

i give unto you present future and past

For you are the Lord, You are my Lord

So the days the locusts ate will surely be restored

Now for all of my moments in all that I do

My assurrance comes in knowing you.

You put my sin behind your back

Cast it into the deepest sea

You clothed me in your righteousness

And made a son of me

For you are the Lord, You are my Lord

So the days the locusts ate will surely be restored

Now for all of my moments in all that I do

My assurrance comes in knowing you.
