Rejoice! the Lord has Come! -6-19-96

"Jesus" is a simple name- it means that "God will save"

That is the reason why He came- He is the gift God gave.

"The Christ" is such a simple phrase- But what a weight it bore!

Centuries of yearning now in a manger lay- and so this Annointed One adore!

An ideal priest, and an ideal King

Upon one Holy night broke the divine Dayspring

To us a child of Hope is born and Justice guards His throne

Take joy now all you who mourn- Rejoice the Lord is come!!
