Restore and revive us again

In times of great trouble- in times of great depair,

In the depths of disgrace brought by sin,

We must pray and then wait for an answer to prayer

"Lord, restore and revive us again!"

Though the locusts' hunger has been satisfied

Feasting on the broken lives of men

Restoration is ours in the crucified

He restores and revives us again.

He covered our sin and set aside the Wrath

His resurrection power makes alive

He sets my feet on the solid path

His Spirit restores and revives

So if you are weary of living with sin

And you see that your best is no good

Cast yourself upon him- all you have been

Shall be changed just as He said it would.
