Wise Men

Thru the valley of the shadow with the hope of ancient promise,

The wise men set their eyes upon the star to light their pilgrim way

They recognized the natal star held hope and life and guidance

For it pointed to the one for whom prophets and prophets prayed

The wise men sought a reigning King, a perfect priest or prophet

And who they found were all of these and so much more that day

The desire of all the ages, the hope of all the future

The star shown down upon the one whose light would light the way

Emmanuel - Christ is revealed

The fact that God is With us

In the rapture of a life that's born again

Emmanuel- our hope is sealed

In the salvation that reigns in us

In the promise that He made that never ends.
