Beauty for Ashes

Beauty for ashes and joy for mourning

Oil on the heads of the righteous outpoured.

Garments of praise in place of faint spirits

Shall be the reward of the Lord.

Gold for brass and silver for iron

The Lord will give in exchange

Brass for wood and wood for stones

A double portion of honor for shame.

We shall be called "Trees of Righteousness"

A planting the Lord Himself shall raise

Our wall shall be known as "salvation"

And our gates shall be known as "praise".
