Dancing with Broken Bones

Your heart breaks for your sins and mistakes

and you feel so all alone

You long for something new cause something died in you

Now you’re dancing with broken bones

You see what David had done in Psalm 51

He’d walked his palace and wept on his throne

And then his  heart cried out ‘til it became a shout

And he was dancing with broken bones

Let your love rain down on me...

Let your love rain down on me...

You say your steps are fine and that you’re keeping time

You see no need for which He can atone

But you may someday find that life will break your mind

You’l have to dance with broken bones

He’l turn your mourning stance into a daring dance

He’ll teach you steps you’ve never known

if you’ll just let Him lead you’ll see your spirit freed

And you’ll be dancin’ with broken bones
