Light of the world shine on me

Open my eyes that I can see

And in a vision of the heavenlies

Let me understand, my light of the world

Your holy plan as it is unfurled

To the nations and throughout history

Give us eyes in our souls so our souls may see.

 

Eyes of the Soul dreaming dreams

Eyes of the soul see visions of light

Eyes of the soul are eyes without beams

That can peer into souls with insight.

 

Give us eyes that weep with those who weep

Eyes of compassion to see into the deep

Eyes of forgiveness and eyes that are kind

Eyes that see your will in all that they find.
