God is on his Throne

Tho your inheritance is cast to the wind- you shall never stand alone.

Your restoration shall be assured- for god is on His Throne

Tho enemies come like a swarm in its flight-attacking the peace you’ve known

Destruction has piled the corpses high But God is on his throne.

Tho we may stand on walls of tin-Our foundation shall soon be shown

Tho you’re eating the fruit of judgment’s end still God is on His throne.

The razed sanctuary shall be rebuilt- The remnant spared to return, return-

And in the end it surely comes when mercy is undone.- when mercy is undone.

Don’t you know that Yahweh saves? Don’t you know He’s Lord alone?

Don’t you see this promise is sure- For He’s still on His throne

Mountains may fall and valleys fill

The Earth will one day cease to groan

To come he has promised and come He will

To bring with Him his throne.
