Perfect Peace

 

In faith I calmly rest and in God I put my trust

Though often I’m oppressed by anxiety and lust

His Lordship’s my reward in Him real joy I find

He’s keeping watch as Lord o’er me and o’er my time

 

You keep the one in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee

Whose heart has been released so as to be set free

In faith to calmly rest and in His love abide

To be forever blessed- now in the Lord confide

 

 

Therfore I give my all- rejoice to do his will

I know whate’re befalls his love shall lead me still

So like a little child who clasps his father’s hand

Redeemed and reconciled in faith alone I stand.
