Too Human

 

I’m just to human to be able to do

The things that you have commanded me to

And so a new creature I must become

Cause I see the mountain and I am undone

I’m not theat dumb to believe I suffice

When all that you are for me is in Christ

And available to me here and right now

But I’m not good at dying will you show me how?

 

I’m just too human to believe

That all that I am is all that I can be

And I know I can never be good enough

For all of my goodness is just filthy stuff.

And I’m just too human your glory to see

If I’m left on my own then there’s no hope for me.

But In Christ and Through Christ - for Christ’s sake alone

All the glories of Heaven have become my own
