Turning Never Into Forever

 

The cost was great- too little came too late

To pay though men endeavored

The sacrifice-  was too great a price

To turn never into forever

 

There was nothing but blame until the Way came

No man could be so clever

To find a path around God’s wrath

To turn never into forever

 

All men were lost at such a cost

Not one deserved God’s favor

But grace abounds so the way was found

To turn never into forever

 

The wall was breached for God can reach

The veil to rend and sever

The broken laws- the hopeless cause

and turn never into forever.
