Will Wonders Never Cease?

So many glories, so much of grace

Here at the throne where we stand face to face

Here in the presence of infinite peace

Will Wonders never cease?

In a place of accounting and of recompense

There’s reward for the righteous who find their  defense

All bound up in the lamb who has bought their release

and has brought them to where wonders never cease.

The passion and glory of life at the throne

The blessed estate that has hence been unknown

Is where His dominion shall see its increase

Dwelling there where wonders  will never cease

Will wonders never cease?

Has night been turned to day?

Has mourning turned to dancing

Where hearts are turned to pray?

The roving heart turns to the fold

And warfare turns to peace

The all is laid upon the altar

And wonders never cease.

Oh the turning away

And the turning toward

A dead man is living

His blood’s been outpoured

His all on the altar

He has paid the price

For those who denied him

He gives meaning to life.

So many glories, so much of grace

Here at the throne where we stand face to face

Here in the presence of justice and peace

Will Wonders never cease?
