The Captivity of Zion- Psalm 126

 

When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream

And our mouths were filled with  laughter and our tongues with singing

Then we said among the nations,” the Lord has done great things for us”

The Lord has done great things forever, whereof we are glad.”

 

Bring back our captivity, Oh Lord

Bring back our captivity, Oh Lord

Bring back our captivity, Oh Lord

 

As the streams in the south, those who sow in tears

They shall reap in great joy

And he who continully goes forth weeping

Bearing seed for sowing

Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing

Bringing in His sheaves
