Deep Gladness (Love’s covering)

This work of hands disquieted and ravaged by their time

And time and times and half a time now speak of mystery divine.

Of remnants that were gathered and intuitively pieced

A bright design minutely sketched and an image is released

A quilt made out of cast off rags- a cathedral window to the soul

Now covers over me in love- defends me from my cold.

Remembering is virtue - examining is task

And realization of the real yields more questions to be asked.

The long, deep comedy Exposes and discloses

God’s great love for me and the paradox it poses
