Pride and Joy

May I never boast in anything except in the cross of Christ.

Through which the world is crucified and I’m made a living sacrifice.

For He is the Lord- in Him we make our boast

And we praise His name with all the heavenly hosts.

My soul will boast in Christ and I will lift my voice!

My sould will boast let the afflicted hear and rejoice!

For He is the Lord- I will declare His worth!

He exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on the earth!

My pride and my joy is to boast in the Cross!

My pride and my joy is to take Him to the Lost!

These are His delight as are vessels He employs

As we extend His grace we boast in Christ- our pride and joy!

In God we make our boast all day long

In God we make our boast- we sing our joyful song!

So now I humbly bow and my every claim destroy

Your finished work upon the cross is now my pride and joy
