Read It and Weep

Right now counts forever and right now is the day

The time of God’s favour, the time to walk His way.

God is there and is not silent- he calls us to be healed

His word is like a mirror Our true nature to reveal

Every idle word -that men shall speak, that men have heard

They shall give account thereof on the day of Judgement

All of us shall appear before his throne with hope or fear

Each day its drawing near- that day of judgement...

Deep is calling unto deep

What you sow so shall you reap

The life laid down’s the one He keeps- read it and weep....

God gives to us His will within a more sure word

It’s dangerous and sharper than a two edged sword

That penetrates the hardened hateful heart of stone

And separates between the very marrow and the bone

Not everyone who calls Him Lord shall enter into rest

But he that does the Father’s will surely will be blessed

Many cry out, Lord, we have worked wonders in your name

I never knew you, he replies, Depart from me-the way you came...
