Though We are Dust

Though we are dust we are able to trust

That we are made just by our Hope of Glory

Though we have died- dwelling in sin and pride

He draws us to his side and tells us His story.

Though we are weak - so blind we cannot seek

He said that the meek shall inherit the earth

Though it seems so absurd he is true to his word

This is truth we have heard -When He gave us new birth.

Joy fills our songs but troubled hearts remain

Guilt and sin are strong but His greater grace shall reign

In every heart filled with God’s love

The beauty of celebration rains down from above!

Come gather around and hear the sweet sound

It is e’er to be found on the lips of saved.

For praise flows with ease when the captive Christ frees-

Come fall on your knees and lift up your praise!
