He laid down his own will in the garden called Gethsemane
He carried the crossbeam up the hill and every step he carried me
He rolled away the burial stone and He overcame the grave.
Now we can stand and make Him known for He is mighty to save
So I will stand in His presence and be filled-I will carry the cross he gives
I will lay down my burdens and my will-For in my heart a Saviour lives

His power is pure and His glory is the light
