Eyes of the Lord

2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

The eyes of the Lord go to and fro throughout the Earth

Seeking for a righteous man who will declare His worth

Peering deep into our hearts- into the hidden, secret place

He brings us to the light of day and confronts us face to face.

Search me Oh Lord and know my heart

Try me and prove my mind

See if there be any way in me

That makes me cold or blind

Search me and try me- do not deny me

A place at your table- though i am not able

In your presence to stand

You make me understand

That to enter in it must be in your way

And you are the only reason I can stay!

See through me -eyes of eternity!

All seeing and all knowing- give me eyes to see!

You are my vision! All is within your view

Your holy light, your sovereign sight- See all I hope to do!
