Into the river of risk a place where trust must stand

A time of testing waits for you- step out and understand

The rapids take you under but you will rise again

Perfected in your weakness according to God's plan

The falls may seem to crush you but on the other side

You will find a place to dwell- a place where you'll abide

Into the river of risk where the faithful one you'll meet

For what is risk to flesh and bone- is blessing so complete.

The unseen currents threaten us and throw us off our course

The unseen hand that guides is flowing from our source

For rarely does the river part to give us a clear path

Our deliverance is made complete by a cleansing water death

There is only one river and the river is here- Plunging into it with all of our fear

We are delivered by the river We are set free in its flow

We are washed and taken under And raised again new life to know!
