A Contrite Heart

God does not change laws of time and space the laws of nature or of grace

To satisfy the whims of man- God does not compromise His plan!

God is not bound to honor sin or the plans and petitions of men

His holiness is not a chain to bind his hand or cause us pain.

But when a contrite spirit kneels to the humble, god reveals

The mysteries of the sublime- He folds away both space and time

The answers that you long have sought like heaven to the heart are brought

With faith in christ at any moment- the infinite is imminent.

Thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity

Thus says the high and lofty one whose name's exalted and holy,

"I dwell in a high and holy place as well as with him who seeks my face

Who has a contrite spirit and an humble heart bowed in my sight

I will receive the spirit of the humble and revive the heart of the contrite!"

Isaiah 57:15
