Coram Deo(before the Face of God)
I want to live a quiet life - at least until it comes to You
No attention do I seek lest your glory should shine through!
I want to live at peace with men for peacemakers are blessed
But the peace of God demands a price before we take our rest.
I want to live a humble life for then I'm truly bold
To lie down in green pastures I let go of all I hold
I want to live a holy life dependent on my lord
In stillness and simplicity I receive grace outpoured.
A habit of holiness
A pattern of purity
The indelible mark of the master
Branded upon me
I want to live a blessed life- one that is filled with grace
Spotless, without blemish before God's holy Face
I want to sense God dancing and exulting over me
To hear the song that Jesus sings for all eternity
How can I speak of such things?
It 's only by God's great grace
The devastating promises of one
By whose wonder I'm embraced
I want to live a blessed life- one that is filled with grace
Spotless, without blemish before God's holy Face
I want to sense God dancing and exulting over me
To hear the song that Jesus sings for all eternity
(Zephaniah 3:16-17)
