I'll Live For Him

Though for years I ran with all my might my spirit bound in chains of sin

Seeking to avoid the light for fear of a glimpse of what might have been

But restoration I have found since eye to eye I saw Christ's might

Loosed from the dungeon where I was bound I arose and followed Him into the light

For Jesus lives and so do I My hope and trust shall never die

Jesus lives and by His grace I'll live like one who's seen His face

I'll live for Him who died for me- I'll live a life of Victory!

On my knees I shall fall for He is crowned my lord of All!

For years I tried to make my way into a place where I could stay

Secure and special, set apart Until, alone, I saw my selfish heart

I was a prisoner of sin's demandsI'll not submit to Satan's plans

I'll live before the eternal throne!-now I walk and live In Christ alone
