In the Light of Eternity

The children of sin and the children of sorrow

We pit ourselves against tomorrow

We miss the substance of all that life means

In eternity's shallows, drowning in dreams.

But there is a promise that gnaws at us all

Those who understand will heed God's higher call

In unseen light we are caust twixt two worlds

In the womb of heaven waiting for the pearl.

The ground of hope and of our security

Is found in living in Holy Mystery

In the light of Eternity…

Now children of death and the children of distress

Who're sanctified by His presence and blessed

God weaves their life-threads with perfect symmetry

In treasures out of time- perfect tapestries.

Eternal glory fills all our time and space

Real things are the things that last beyond this transcient place

A watershed of passion, power and purity

Is there to be revealed for all men to see…
