Peace Breaker

Christ did not only come to bring peace on that silent night

He also came to put the sword to that peace which is in vain.

That peace not based in knowing Him- He came to put us right

So that forevermore His peace might reign!

And he wages war against the lie that blinds

He casrs out every sin and chain that binds.

When God splits History apart, even families must choose

Those who answer the call and those who refuse!

Blessed is the peacebreaker- he tears down safety's walls,

He causes conflict in the fortress a battle cry is His call!

For conflict is the inevitable result of His advent

He severs self sufficiency like the temple veil was rent!

Hecame to do the work of God-He came to put us right

To put the sword to every peace that men enjoy in vain

So that forevermore His own peace might reign!
