The Calling

Used up and worn out and ready to rest

Not from the world but from its quest

To rest in the reason for the journey

The pursuit of the lord ends in eternity.

And eternity is in our hearts

The place where He puts it - the place where life starts

The answers's the reason for all we shall be

Changed to his likeness we shall be set free!

The call to our purpose and to worship,'s the same

He calls us to himself by the power of his name.

And makes us a people Holy and without blame.

He fills us to fullness with all that He is is His aim!

He calls us to His heart- decisive and sure

That everything we are shall come to endure

Everything we have is invested with awe

Devotion and power-Lived out in response to his call!
