Though I have been rejected by those to whom I was connected
Though I have suffered loss, to keep that life bore too great a cost.
Though men might not understand, and though at times I failed to hold his hand
God took me out of that place To where I could only see his face.
And he will take care of the rest And guide me so that I am blessed
And what escapes me
he will show When I've done what I already know...
For all my alienation was a facade of guilt and pride
A deadly combination, and then I died, and then I died!
Coming to the end of me was only by your way
Coming to be buried so I could arise to stay
In the glory of the father, walking in a life that's new,
By the glory of the father I do what I know to do.
And he will take care of the rest
And guide me so that I am blessed
And what escapes me he will show
When I've done what I already know...
