Highway of Holiness

A highway there will be- a roadway

Called the Highway of Holiness

The unclean may not travel it

Only ones who walk in blessedness

Everlasting joy upon their heads

Everlasting joy will be the way

They will find gladness and joy

Sorrow and sighing will pass away

The Highway of Holiness

is a far less travelled road

Than the wide path of destruction

where you carry your own load

On that road Christ carries you

for the crippled cannot walk alone

On that road he is your portion

He must lift you up and bear you home…
