Rage of Compassion

The autumn chill of desolation in our lives and in our times

With the changing of the seasons and the reasons in our minds

I will weep with Jeremiah,  I will dance with bones afire

I will speak the truth with angry love that confounds my desire.

The fall is ever present and the winter’s on its way

And I feel the cold chill in my bones and it will not go away

So the fire must be ignited and then stirred into a flame

Then my cold will flee within my heart and will never be the same.

I will weep with Jeremiah,  I will dance with bones afire

I will speak the truth with angry love that confounds my desire.
