A Place at the Altar

There’s a place at the altar carved out for every soul

A place within the shadow of His wings where you are whole

And hiding in that shadow we live life that overcomes

For in that shadow in it’s light  we  all become undone.

In the courts of your presence where we  all may enter in

For there is no partition made by God nor made by men

For in His blood all separation falls beside the way

But only in the blood of Christ  is sin washed away.

The place at the altar has become your heart

Your life is the temple, your body a work of art

A place for His dwelling for all eternity

Your life is now telling the perfected poetry

Enter His gates, enter His courts

The throne of the heavens is now in your heart

Enter His throneroom, behind the veil

Live in the Presence and you will Prevail.

A place at the altar where victory’;s won

For there is no more sacrifice it’ s over and done.

Once for all and forever- atonement is made

Take your place at the altar- where the price is all paid.
