The End of Endeavour

The chief end of man is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.

Whether  you eat,

Or whether you drink,

or whatsoever you do,

whatever you think

Do all to the glory of God.

Do all to the glory of God.

For of him, and through him,

For in Him and to him,

Are all things: So to Him be glory

Forever and ever. Let it be…

Shoutitout: With your counsel, You will guide me

and afterward receive me to glory.

Whom have I in heaven but you?

and there is none upon earth that I desire beside you, O Lord!

Whether  you eat,

Or whether you drink,

or whatsoever you do,

whatever you think

Do all to the glory of God.

Do all to the glory of God.

My flesh and my heart will fail

But God,  the strength of my heart will prevail,

He is the end of my endeavour

For He is  my portion for ever.
