Faithful to our trust

Well I've loved you and you've loved me more than we know to tell

But all that love alone will not suffice

And just cause we've committed all- our  beings know too well

That heart and soul and mind  and strength are a pretty paltry price

As  devices  deconstruct into dependence

We will dream until the darkness drips daylight.

As humility o'ertakes our willful wandering

We will  open eyes of empathy   and see with true insight

So we will do what we believe and not what we feel we must

For the oil of gladness has been poured out on our way

The one we've placed our faith in has been faithfull  to our trust

The mourning turned to dancing in  more ways than we can say

But I'll write this song and try to try to say it anyway

As the dreams become new chapters in our history

Then our vision clears and seeing we will see…

That a life be being filled with holy mystery

Is the only life  we want for you and me

And our fires will burn brighter every night

And desires take backseat to our love's demands

For we've become more fiery than our most passionate fight

And God's promises more precious than our plans…

For  God has made a place where we can live as one

A place of  peace a place of grace, a place of all our own

A place where he will finish what he alone has begun

A place where we can know as we are known…

So we will do what we believe and not what we feel we must

For the oil of gladness has been poured out on our way

The one we've placed our faith in has been faithfull  to our trust

The mourning turned to dancing in  more ways than we can say

But I'll write this song and try to try to say it anyway

On our 25th anniversary eve
