God is Good, yes God is good

He does not do as mere men would

Yet often He’s misunderstood

Because not one of us is good.

God is Good, yes God is good

In changing days it’s understood

He made the worlds because he could

The Heavens declare that God is Good

God is Good, yes God is good

It’s by His grace that we have stood

So by grace we do what we should

Declare aloud that God is good

God is Good, yes God is good

Yet it is wondrous that He would

Come die upon a cross of wood

That He might prove that God is Good.
