Good and Perfect Gift

A good and perfect gift came down

Given by the Father of Lights

Those who'll receive this gift possess

The living fire that grace ignites

So if one believes and receives

The perfect gift God gives

It will be well forevermore

Tis faith by which he lives

And He is ours and we are His

To be each other's treasure

The good and perfect priceless gift

Of value beyond measure

The good, the beautiful, the true

Wrapped up in flesh and bone

Perfection pitched its tent and grew

To make God's glory known

And so we give our hearts to Him

As he laid His life down

And so as he was lifted up

So in Him we are found

To be a good and perfect gift

Set apart unto His will

His good pleasure is our joy

His purpose we fulfill.
