Morning Prayer

I love you Lord and you know it

So beginning now and all day through

I want my life to show it

I want the my life to look like you.

In the early light and into the night

Turn the hours by your grace

Make my thoughts a pleasing sacrifice

Filled with love and known by praise.

As I waken, Lord I pray

As a new day greets my eyes

Make each moment a prayer of grace

Raise me up like the sunrise

May this day be yours alone

Now I rise up from my sleep

Hour by hour your mercy is shown

Grant me grace your Word to keep

This morning as I wake I see

And all throughout this day

Let me love you with integrity

And not just words I say

I will love you in each moment

With each breath that I should take

I would love you as I’m sleeping

In my dreams or when I wake

All day long and each day through

Jesus I would honor you

Abide in me my all in all

As I live life worthy of your call

As the light falls on my eyes

May I truly realize

Living, moving, being too

All my reasons are in you.
