The eyes of the Lord move to and fro

Thoughout the earth

That he may strongly support those

Whose hearts are completely His.

If God be for us who is against us

If He is our tower how shall we fail?

If God is our Rock, then shall we be moved?

No, the gates of hell will not prevail!

The eyes of the Lord move to and fro

He has come to seek and save the lost

He has pursued us to the cross

And on thru the grace to his rising again

We are chosen as priest in His perfect plan!

The eyes of the Lord move to and fro

Whose hearts are completely His.

Whatever He seeks he surely finds

He sends his spirit to enlighten our mind

And sees us completely in our inward parts

There’s no use in hiding, his eye sees our heart
